Referral Loop

Choose which notifications you get

Go to Settings → Notifications. Each event has a Push switch and an Email switch. Push arrives on your phone or computer; email goes to your login email.

Turn on push for this device

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications and choose Turn On next to Push on This Device.
  2. Allow notifications when your browser or phone asks.

Push is turned on per device, so repeat this on each phone or computer you want it on. On iPhone, add Referral Loop to your home screen first (iOS 16.4 or later), then open it from there and turn push on. Signing out turns push off on that device.

Choose what you're told

  • Signing: waiting for your signature, signed by everyone, someone signed, a signer declines, didn't reach someone, paper copy requested.
  • Shared Referrals: a referral is shared with you, an update is requested, a partner updates a referral, a new comment, sharing stops, a file is added, your referral is opened.
  • Tasks and Referrals: tasks due today, tasks now overdue, task reminders, an agreement is expiring, a closing date is approaching, a referral fee is overdue, no reply to an update request, a signer is still unsigned.
  • People: a partner agent joins Referral Loop.
  • Account: payment failed, trial ending, plan starting, annual renewal, data export ready, plan ending.

Someone signed, a new comment, a file is added and a partner agent joins are push only to start; sharing stops is email only; your referral is opened is off. The rest are on for both. Turning one off stops that push or email. The signing, referral or request still shows in Referral Loop. Emails that deliver something, such as a signing link, a signed copy or a paper-copy request, show Always; their push can still be turned off.

Push on a lock screen never shows a client's phone, email or address. When a referral hides its client, the document is called Referral Agreement until it's signed by everyone.

Payment failed, trial ending, plan starting, annual renewal and data export ready always email you (they show Always); their push can be turned off. Plan starting is the reminder 3 days before your card is first charged after a trial; annual renewal is the one a week before an annual plan renews. Plan ending emails and pushes you when a plan you cancelled is a week from ending and on the day.

Receipts come from Stripe, and sign-in emails can't be turned off.
