Connect your AI tool (Claude, ChatGPT and others)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool to Referral Loop, then ask about your referrals in plain English: "Which agents haven't I heard from in a while?", "What's due this week?", "Who should I send this Austin buyer to?" Turn on Allow Changes and it can update Referral Loop for you, too. Your AI tool does the thinking; Referral Loop supplies the facts. It's free on every plan.

Before you start

You need an account with the AI tool you want to connect, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Your AI tool must let you add a connector. On some plans it's a setting you turn on first.

Connect it

In Referral Loop, go to Settings → Integrations → AI Tools and choose Copy Address.
In your AI tool, add a new connector (some tools say "custom connector") and paste the address.
Your AI tool opens a Referral Loop page. Sign in if it asks.
Choose what the tool can see, and whether it can save things for you. Everything starts off. Allow All Reading turns on the four "see" switches at once.
Choose Allow. Go back to your AI tool and ask a question.

Things you can ask

Which of my referrals haven't had an update in a month?
Which agreements are still waiting on a signature?
How much referral fee is still owed to me?

With Allow Changes on, you can also say:

I just called Sara Hale. Log it on Ana Ruiz's referral, and remind me Monday to check in.
Add my new client Dana Cole and start a referral to Lee Park in Austin.
Ana Ruiz's referral is under contract, closing December 12.

What it can and can't do

It reads your own referrals, clients, agents, brokerages, tasks, activity and documents.
It can suggest which of your agents fits a referral, using their sales history and profile.
With Allow Changes on, it can log a call or note, and add or change your tasks, clients, partner agents, brokerages and referrals. That includes moving a referral to a new stage and ticking off checklist steps. Anything it adds says Created via and the tool's name.
To change a referral fee or record one as received, it also needs Fees and Money on, so it never changes a number it can't see.
It can archive and restore, but it never deletes anything, and it never sends an email, text or document. If it prepares something, you open it and send it yourself.
It never sees signing links or private file locations.

Change your mind later

Go to Settings → Integrations → AI Tools and choose the tool. Turn any switch on or off, and the change applies right away. Disconnect stops the tool at once. To use it again, connect it again.

For the technically minded: the connection uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI tools use to connect to other apps.
